Dust Brush Seminar

A new workshop with Master Tang Lai Wei for the Dust Brush is now taking applications, incorporating the skills and techniques that are the uniquely characteristic of the Dust Brush.

The Dust Brush (拂尘 Fochen) is a unique martial art weapon with Buddhist and Taoist origins. Traditionally used to keep insects away, the dust brush developed into a ceremonial object and Wushu weapon. Made from mane, animal hair or hemp tied together and attached to a long handle, the dust brush movements are soft and fluid.
